Trullo Alloro

Deep in the Valle d'Itria, where dry-stone conical roofs rise among centuries-old olive groves, this estate pairs two restored trulli clusters into a single private retreat for up to sixteen guests. Architect-led restoration has kept the stone vaults, thick whitewashed walls and quiet stillness of rural Puglia intact, while softening every corner with contemporary comfort. 

Two clusters of trulli sit forty metres apart, each with its own rhythm. The first opens onto a vaulted dining room anchored by a table for twelve, its kitchen spilling out toward the pool terrace, and three double bedrooms, each en suite, alongside a lounge and a private studio. The second cluster, reached along a stone path through the garden, holds a master suite and two further double bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, arranged around an open-plan kitchen, dining space and two separate living areas — six bedrooms and six bathrooms in total, comfortably sleeping twelve, with capacity for up to sixteen. 

Two private saltwater pools anchor the two-hectare garden — one framed by sun-loungers and shaded corners, the other with a hydromassage corner and an infinity edge built for sunset swimming. Beyond the pool terraces, landscaped lawns and stone paths wind past ancient olive trees to hammocks strung between branches and cushioned nooks tucked into the shade. A wood-fired oven and open brazier anchor long evenings of outdoor cooking, with barbecue dinners served beneath the stars. 

The property sits within a 25-hectare private estate, surrounded by olive groves and enjoying sweeping 360-degree views across the rolling hills and countryside of the Valle d’Itria. Here, tranquillity, space and a deep connection with the surrounding landscape are integral to the experience.

The villa can be booked independently or together with Trullo Libeccio, another exclusive property located within the same estate. Set on two separate hills, on almost opposite sides of the grounds, the two villas are connected by a private internal road. When booked individually, each property offers its own complete privacy and independence. When reserved together, they provide an exceptional solution for larger groups, extended families or friends travelling together, allowing everyone to share the same estate while enjoying separate living spaces and their own sense of seclusion.

The charming towns of Ceglie Messapica, Ostuni and Cisternino are all within easy driving distance, while Locorotondo, Martina Franca and Alberobello are also conveniently accessible.
